MY SHEEP
Jesus usually used many metaphors to talk about his disciples.
One of them is the sheep of his pasture.
He is the Owner of his sheep, and He also appoints us to take care of his
sheep.
Thus, we are both His sheep and the shepherds of his flock.
I.T̀NH TRẠNG NGƯỜI CHĂN THE SHEPHERDS' SITUATION
1.Kẻ chỉ nuôi ḿnh: Who only take care of themselves
a.Chỉ quan tâm đến ḿnh:
They only concern about themselves
. They only feed themselves.
. They only look for their own
comfortable lives.
. They clothe themselves with the wool.
b.Sẵn sàng hy sinh bầy:
They are ready to sacrifice the flock
. They kill the sheep for food.
. They abandon the sheep and
run away in case of difficulty.
2.Kẻ không làm bổn phận người chăn:
They don't fulfill the shepherd's tasks
a.Không nuôi chiên: They don't feed the sheep
. They don't seek the green pasture for the sheep.
. They don't seek the quiet waters.
b.Không chăn chiên:
They don't take care of the flock
. They don't strengthen the weak.
. They don't heal the sick.
. They don't bind up the injured.
. They don't bring back the strays or search for the lost.
II.T̀NH TRẠNG BẦY CHIÊN THE FLOCK'S SITUATION
1.Tranh chấp giữa các chiên: The struggle inside the flock
a.Giành đồng cỏ tốt, nước trong: They struggle for the good pasture and
clear water.
. They only concern about themselves.
. They only enjoy blessings themselves.
. They leave others in miserable situation.
b.Phá hoại và xô đuổi chiên khác: They undermine the unity of the flock
. They trample the rest of good pasture after eating.
. They also muddy the rest of clear water after drinking.
. They drive the weak away by their horns, flanks, and shoulders.
2.Quá nhiều chiên tan lạc: A lot of sheep are lost
a.Tan lạc v́ người chăn tắt trách: Because of the shepherd's carelessness.
. Lack of tending...
. Lack of teaching, leading?
b.Tan lạc v́ chiên mập xô đuổi: Because of the sleek and the strong!
. Because of the flock's division.
. Because of the individualism.
c.Tan lạc thật khốn khổ: The lost's situation is quite miserable
. They are hungry, thirsty.
. They are puzzled, embarassed.
. They become food for all the wild animals.
III.VIỆC CHÚA LÀM THE LORD'S DECISION
1.Cách chức người chăn: To dismiss the shepherds
a.Đ̣i lại chiên: He remove them from tending the flock
. They will lose their position, their interests?
b.Khiến họ không thể tự nuôi ḿnh: They can no longer feed themselves
. They are removed from The Lord's flock.
. They cannot find the lost opportunity.
2.Đem chiên lạc trở về: He will bring back the lost
a.T́m kiếm chiên: He will search for the lost
. Despite the fact that they are on mountains, hills, or dark valleys?
b.Giải cứu chiên: He will rescue the lost.
. He will rescue them from all the enemies.
. He will bring them back from all over the world.
3.Chăn nuôi chiên: He will tend His flock
a.Nuôi chiên: He will feed them
. In the green pasture and quiet waters.
. They will live in strong sheep pen.
b.Chăn chiên: He will take care of His flock
. He will search for the lost.
. He will bring back the stays.
. He will bind up the injured.
. He will strengthen the weak.
c.Kỷ luật: He will discipline the bad sheep
. He will discipline the troublemakers.
. He will discipline the disqualified.
. He leads His sheep to the way of righteousness.
. The Lord is appoiinting us to take care of His sheep in our family, our
nation.
. Are we fulfilling our tasks?
. Begin to be His lamb. Let Him tend, feed, and correct us to be worthy for
the position of the shepherd of His flock.
